Andrew Kleiner

Andrew said part of his responsibilities are Community and Economic Development within the Lehigh Valley. He is currently going around and meeting municipal leaders and elected officials in the Lehigh Valley communities. We receive phone calls from companies that may be looking to move to the Lehigh Valley area and we work with them to find a perfect match for their business. Another aspect of his position is redevelopment and that includes managing grants for the Lehigh Valley communities. Kleiner went on to say the LVEDC has available resources that can help our communities businesses. He offered their website, www.lehighvalley.org, where information can be found on many topics and he encouraged the business leaders to reach out to them with any specific needs you may be experiencing. Kleiner added LVEDC does a great deal of research on the talent supply available in the Lehigh Valley and matching the talent to the current and future needs of the community.
Doug Warfel
Director, Business Recruitment and Lending –
Doug began by explaining the many resources that are available through the Lehigh Valley Economic Development Corporation and how they can use those resources to assist businesses within the community. Warfel said we want business to come here, start here and grow here. Warfel said a component of his responsibility is the financial piece. He stated they partner with regional banks and with non-profit and public financing resources. This provides a wide variety of financing options available to businesses in the Lehigh Valley. He encouraged anyone to reach out to him to discuss any of the options that are available in more detail.
