2022 Civic Trust Award for 50 years in business

In 1972, Joseph Assise, Jr. was working for another contractor and decided to branch out and start his own business.  Offering quality work at fair pricing with superior workmanship, he named the business Superior Decorating, Painting & Paper Hanging.

 At the time, the Assise family lived in Easton, but in December of 1986, they moved to Palmer Township and have lived here since. 

 The business is, and always has been, family owned and operated. They currently have 9 employees.  Mike Assise is continuing in the family tradition, providing the same quality work instilled by his father.

A fun fact that Mike would like to share is when they first moved to Palmer, his father was told he could not park his company truck at their home if it had the business name on the side of it. His dad took the name off the trucks and said “word of mouth is the best advertisement anyway”.
