At the September 25, 2019, BIP Membership Luncheon, the speaker was Northampton County Executive Lamont McClure. His talk focused on what his administration is doing to help businesses in the county. He talked about several programs that were available to businesses. He also talked about the proliferation of warehouses throughout the county chewing up a lot of farmland. He feels the preservation of farmland and open space is important and he is working hard to preserve as much as he possibility can.
