At the Business Luncheon on June 28th Lisa Colver, BIP Scholarship Committee member presented at $1000 scholarship to Shannon Schubert. Shannon is the daughter of Chuck and Karen Schubert.
Shannon had maintained 4 years of honor roll throughout high school and is passionate about being involved in athletics. She started playing soccer at the age of 4 and has also been involved in volleyball and lacrosse. Unfortunately, Shannon suffered multiple concussions which ended her athletic career, however, she enjoyed sports marketing as it kept her connected to what is important to her. She was also involved in the Key Club and dual-enrolled at Northampton County College which portrays hard work and dedication.
Shannon’s school counselor describes her as being extremely positive, friendly, helpful and outgoing.
Shannon will be attending Northampton Community College in the Fall
Volunteers for Miracle League of Northampton County, Special Olympics, Loaves & Fisher Soup Kitchen, Country Meadows recreational activities, Day of Caring and Shawnee Elves.
